One of the great aspects of residential solar is the people – people from all walks of life, careers, backgrounds and personalities. This keeps my profession interesting different than most types of sales where customer base is consistent. Anyone who owns a home with an electric bill over $100 per month could benefit by switching to solar. The opportunity to meet a diverse crowd of homeowners is always entertaining since every meeting is different. Overwhelmingly positive, even if the potential client doesn’t move forward with my company Flex Advisers, connections are made and the solar knowledge shared. Choosing only 8 customers among hundreds of doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, military, policemen, firefighters, CPAs, martial arts/tango masters, real estate agents and rock stars was extremely hard to do. Overall, it’s been an incredible journey to advise people on the benefits of renewable energy and its economic advantages.
